The Deadliest Place for a Woman in Latin America

I reside in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. It is, without a doubt, one of the most hazardous locations to live. Every time I walk down the street, I see a body that has been killed 70% of the time. I’m 16 years old and I truly want to leave Honduras to study and start a new life. In the previous four years, they’ve slain 20 individuals near my house. Every night, you can hear gunshots, and I’ve lost family members to gang fights or violent robberies. If you live in a great place with a great house and family, appreciate what you have.

It’s heartbreaking to see the father mourn over his deceased daughter, and experts wonder why modern people are so miserable. It’s because we can now hear and see each other’s agony from all over the globe; no matter how easy my life is, the internet allows me to see how my fellow humans are doing in other areas of the world, and this depresses and sickens me. I pity this man; it’s no surprise that they all want to visit the United States.
